On the Poets

Nathaniel Lee Hansen is Assistant Professor of English & Creative Writing at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. His fiction and poetry have appeared in Midwestern Gothic, The Passionate Transitory, Bluestem, The Evansville Review, and South Dakota Review, among others. He is the editor of the online literary quarterly, The Blue Bear Review, and the editor of Windhover: A Journal of Christian Literature.

Tania Runyan’s poems have appeared in dozens of periodicals, including Poetry, Atlanta Review, Indiana Review, and The Christian Century. She was awarded an NEA grant for 2011 and the 2007 Book of the Year Citation by the Conference on Christianity and Literature for her chapbook, Delicious Air. Her most recent collection of poetry is Thousand Vessels (WordFarm, 2011).

Heidi Thorsen is a young, itinerant Stanford alumna with roots in Los Angeles and the Bay Area.  She graduated with honors from the Stanford Feminist Studies Department for her creative thesis project Inclusive Language: Rediscovering Women in the Bible through Poetry.

Maryanne Hannan has published poems in The Christian Century, Christianity and Literature, Windhover, Anglican Theological Review, Spiritus, Clare, and The Other Journal. She lives in upstate New York. Her website is www.mhannan.com.
